This thread was the announcement that Psycho, the original founder of the TMF, had decided to leave the tickling community. I had already been partnered with Scott (psycho) for a little while by this point and the forum itself was fortunately already in my hands, otherwise Scott would have shut it down and converted it into a religiously themed site, as he did the original EZboard and chatroom.
Myriads had already been basically running the administrative side of the forum, and he immediately volunteered to continue doing it, which I was desperately grateful for.
As an interesting bit of trivia, in the entire history of the TMF Myriads has not missed a single daily update of the What's New box, which I consider to be a feat of almost inhuman reliability
