While this is an amusing article, I consider the whole scheme a scam. Just click on any of the other phobias there and compare the contents. It's a standardized text, only the phobias' names change. Like any other "wonder cure for all ailments", this is bound to fail, as it doesn't care for the different individual problems.
But I really met a woman who was allergic to feathers, let alone getting tickled by them. However, I was able to get her interested in tickling in general, to overcome her fears, and share several incredible tickling experiences with her (but without feathers). I even wrote it down in a story: "A Ticklish Topic", which you can read here: http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27861

I agree; I also noticed that all of their phobia cure descriptions are the same with the name of the phobia replaced in each. I am curious as to how they would go about curing this particular fear.
Thanks for the link to your story. With 4,700+ threads in this forum I hadn't seen it.
Their write up is (as others have noted) a text string manipulation, which comes out (get ready for this) looking like...
<I>
"...To add insult to an already distressing condition, most getting old phobia therapies take months or years and sometimes even require the patient to be exposed repeatedly to growing old ..."
</I>
I believe they then claim that they don't require you to grow old.
