I'm hoping mils or someone else who has lived in NYC longer than I have might be able to help me with this question.
My longtime friend Barney, who has lived in NY for over 20 years, has told me since I moved here "Mitch, dont go into or order from any resturant that doesnt have an "A" grade on it. Resturants in NY have a grading system, for eat in, take out, and delivery."
I'm not going to say the name of the resturant I saw that has it, as I havent tried it, and it might be good. I was on the West side of Manhattan today walking with a friend, and came across one of the only chinese buffets I've seen in midtown. We had already eaten, so I couldnt try it today, but, the resturant had a "B" grade on it, yet looked quite busy.
So my question for NYC residents is, "Do you only stick to A grade resturants" , or is that just a myth that my friend came up with?
Any advice or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
Mitch
