Question about p.m.'s

For some reason when i try to read a p.m. it takes up my whole screen plus some.It just started and has never happened before.Any idea what might cause this?

Does the PM have any odd things in it? Do old ones you saved do it also?

After checking some old p.m.'s it only seems to happen with one person,very strange.

Tell me, by "takes up my whole screen plus some" do you mean it is long in the horizontal sense? This sometimes occurs if someone posts a very long word or line that vbulletin does not properly 'break,' i.e. cause to begin a new line rather than extend the old one. Does this one PM have a very long line or element in it?

It takes up my whole screen plus in the horizontal sense,but seems normal other then that.And it only seems to be a problem when i p.m. with one member of the TMF.Very strange indeed. 😕

There must be something about that member that stretches the screen. Do you feel comfortable telling me the member's name (Ask them if you want)? It might be their signature if it occurs in every PM you get from them. It might also be something in their PM, but I wouldn't be able to tell you what without seeing it, and I wouldn't ask to (They are, after all, private messages. 😉 ).

I dont think that will be a problem but let me check.Now its happening with 2 different people grrrr.

There is an easy way to check this. Open one of the offending PMs. Go to "Edit" at the top of your browser window and click "Select All" or hold the CTRL key while pressing A. This will cause all matter on the page to be highlighted. Look for a highlighted area that extends the length of the stretched window. This, whatever it is, would be the cause of the problem.
