Question for anyone interested in men

Hello,

I am a heterosexual male. I noticed that there are a number of lesbians (not that there is anything wrong with that) and it seems kind of like men are not necessarily on the menu here. At least not as much as females are. Now there are more men on this forum than women but it seems like out of our regular contributing women (I conducted no scientific study nor did I sample a population per se), the proportion that are remotely into men are smaller than say the proportion of men into or looking for females.

To be clear if I were reborn as a women I would think that I would be a lesbian lol. Anyways, I'd like to get a sense of why you the reader are interested in men (that is if you are interested in men). You can be a straight/bi woman or a gay/bi man, doesn't matter. I just want to get a sense of what the appeal is, because as a guy who likes women I really don't see any appeal lol.

This is probably the strangest question I've read in a while. I'm not sure I entirely understand your post. Is it, why do gay men find other men attractive? Or why are straight women are attracted to men? If both then:

Why gay men find other men attractive: The same reason you find women attractive. It's how you're wired.

Men are bees and women are flowers. Women at times, by nature, find interest on those who are already pursuing them already or doing the leg work than those who will still give them fuzz... unless the man is extremely genetically dynamic, then there is reason for her to show aggressive interest.

Then perhaps the minor stigma that women who pursue men more, became slut in their eyes could have made impact on this. It's not applicable to me though.

On artistic side, as a female illustrator, I am really more interested to draw the female figure than the male. It makes me more interested with the female species.

On a detached side, women's interest in men is somewhat hidden in the closet. It is always the mystery and the least spoken trivia (or is it just me). 😉

Sorry I am fan of your signature character. Anyways, the reason for this post is because I want to know why people are interested in men. Seeing as I am a man I don't understand. We all know why we like women but why do those that like men like men? Does that make sense? So the question is open to heterosexual women, bi women, gay men, and bi men.

Let me add that I am looking for the attraction aspect I suppose. For example (besides the biological aspects of it), the women I like are tender and somewhat submissive. There is something hypnotic about the soft curves and generally small frame. Sorry, usually I come up with better stuff but it is 3:28 in the morning lol.

Ah, now I get it. I was a bit distracted reading it earlier so after about five times of going over it I thought I'd just post something because the question intrigued me and I've never given it much thought myself but it's interesting. I certainly can't answer this though and won't put words in anyone's mouth but, I would imagine that the reasons we're attracted to females are the same reasons gay men are attracted to gay men. Uh, minus the breasts and vagina of course.

I've thought about this numerous times in the past, and I have to share your viewpoint that if I was (re)born as a woman, I would almost certainly be a lesbian. But then, I AM somewhat biased. 😀

Honestly, I don't know if it's something you can explain precisely. The only answers I've ever been able to give myself are synonymous to Marquis's answer; it's how we're wired.

not entirely sure the point of the question.... not really sure if you're asking what *I myself* like about guys or what I look for (y'know actually theres more than just physical appearances, though i've found the total package) ... or just the general explanation of why I like men ... which is easy- I don't like women (in the sexual sense..) ....

Sorry about the half backed question. I think ticklemepls pretty much hit what I was getting at better than I could up to this point. Think of my question as asking someone (who is interested in men) directly "what about men interests you?" I wouldn't ask this question to someone I knew liked women for example. I guess what I'm looking for is important attributes that those who like men are interested in. I kind of wondered why people are interested in us, or our widely accepted as handsome counterparts in my case lol. I should have spent more time crafting this question from the get go.

I must've asked this question of dozens of women over the years, and I'm still no closer to figuring it out. Women are pretty and soft; men pick their noses and fart in bed. The choice, to me, seems obvious...

The best answer I ever got was a woman who told me that when she sees a man with a nice ass, she has an overwhelming urge to bite it. This seems about as primal as it gets. 🙂
