question for the guys here

the hollywood brother bought a new norelco electric shaver yesterday. this is his first electric shaver purchase in fifteen years. What the hollywood brother is wondering is since most of the razors are rechargable now, how many years do the batteries in them last and how expensive is it to replace the battery

The batteries last for usually at least four or five years and as far as replacing them by that time it would be just as well to buy new shaver as companys stop making replacement cutters after a few years.

Batteries? I thought most electric razors ran off the mains, and are supplied with power cords?

so did hte hollywood brother. the hollywood brother last shaver lasted over 15 years but got lost on a vacation. the hollywood brother is seriously thinking of returning the cordless shaver which most of them are now and buying the one model he saw that still had a good old fashioned cord

My hubby prefers the rechargeable ones because he feels they are safer to use in a restroom if they are unplugged. He has not had good luck with durability, though, and usually has to replace the razor about every 1.5-2 years.

I Agree With Stdave. I Use A Rechargeable And My Bigger Problem Is In Getting Replacement Blades/cutters. I Guess I Could Go On The Internet And Order Them But That Would Reduce My Time On Tt!!!
