I'm trying to get my mind around something for my book.

Have any of you 'lees ever gotten completely used to tickling after a period of time, and if so, how long did it take?

I don't mean the light scratching kind of tickling, we all know you can get used to that after a while, but the hard stuff.

And if it became a different feeling, what was it?

Just want to know, it would help a lot, so thanks!

ever gotten used to it? if you are talking about all out, 'dig right in and tickle', tickling... well, my answer would be not even close! lol

altho... while it didn't quite sound like getting used to it, I have seen posts by NJ Jen about a zone (there was a cool name for it but for the life of me I can't remember it lol) that she goes into. not the same thing but maybe close to what you are thinking?

good luck with the book! even if it does take away from your short story posting... :sowrong:

Thanks Ayla! By the way, I've got a new story on the board, check it out.

Anyone else?

Hmmmm

Well, like you said, I can ignore light tickling after a while. I build up a resistance to it, especially if the same spot is tickled for too long. As for harder, more "dig right in and tickle" tickling as Ayla described, that CAN begin to hurt after a while if someone stays with it too long, or gets too rough. I am not into rough tickling by any means.

There are ways around both of those though (for me anyway)...stay on the move. It's okay to linger in a particularly devilish area that gets me screaming and snorting for a few minutes, but then move on. The more you jump around and surprise me about where you're gonna strike next, the more ticklish I become. And pretty soon I can not block out the softest, most tedious touches placed on me.

For me the tickling seems to build on itself. So as the session goes one I get more and MORE ticklish. It drives me SO nuts getting tickled anyway so for it to continue and get WORSE is HORROR for me.

I WISH it would subside a bit. I've heard and seen folks who start to lose their ticklishness. How I wish I could be like them but it just keeps getting worse. Darn it anyway! (Yeah right. I still love it even though I hate it!)

I cannot see myself ever getting used to the tickling or building up an immunity. Sometimes I wish I could but I cannot see it happening. I am not that lucky lol

Ayla,
That zone is called "sub space". It is not at all getting used to it. It is a matter of giving in to it. Letting the intensity of the sensations take over your body, mind and spirit. When I allow myself to go there, it is the sweetest dimension of HELL. WEG

Dave,
If you are interested in doing a chapter or section on "sub space" in your book, I would be happy to talk to you about it and even give a live demo.

Jen
BTW, Master Pete and I will be doing a demo on "sub space" at the Hyenas Gathering next week. See the east coast gatherings section for details.
