Question for the mods.

What about the idea of specific image forums for feet and underarms? Just curious

That idea has been batted around in both TTC and TMF for ages.

Though, the concept, in theory, seems palatable, it becoms too much of a hassle in the long run.

All you have to do is look at the many new sub-forums in general discussion and the varying reactions to them for THAT answer. Some people like it, others absolutely do NOT.

It could possibly become even worse in this section. You'd get an underarm and feet section up and running, then there would be those clamoring for a straight underarm section, then others begin asking for belly buttons, ribs, toes, insteps, etc.

I figure that after a while, there would be just too many requests that would split the ever-living heck out of the sub forum to the point that uploaders wouldn't know where to put their offerings or even whether they are coming or going.

However, your request piqued my interest...I'll do my best to garner as many of these types of pictures as I can(might take a little bit, though) and when I have enough, I'll post them here as feet and underarms. I might already have a few, but I want to make sure I have at least fifteen before posting.

I'll title it "For Seanman-Feet and underarms." That way you know I succeeded. Unless you don't really search this section of the forums that often. If that is the case, then just let me know and once I've posted I'll send you a PM to tell you that they are up.

EDIT: What type of pictures do you prefer? Are you more of an underarm and sole man? Or do you like underarms and bare feet in general, regardless as to whether they are foot tops, bottoms, or sides? Any input will help me for what I might be looking for.

That might be hard to make work.....

I think just accurately posting the content of the photo and placing the photo in the right section would help a lot!

Heck, people still seem to have a hard time posting photos properly in either the "Tickling" or "Non-tickling".

It seems pretty straightforward. If the photo actually has someone being tickled in it, it goes in the ticking section, if not it goes in the Non-tickling section.

Until people get that straight, I thing sub dividing it even more would be confusing for them.

Also if the photo has someone being tickled under the arms and the ribs at the same time, does it get posted in both the underarm and rib sub sections? That would be a lot of work to track.

As a rule I dislike to split forums into subclasses. It promotes the ghettozation of media. People are not exposed to other things, and it's simpler to ignore things. The idea of the TMF is to promote community. Part of that is seeing what others who share our like of tickling like. We may not also agree that it's our favorite, but in seeing others tastes we may learn a bit about our own.

On the practical side, it makes for a lot more moderation work (people cannot even seem to get non-tickling images into THAT forum on a consistant basis) and I don't want to task a mod to spend the day moving a feet pic here, then going to the underarm forum and moving a belly image from there and on and on. Just a mess.
