There's something here I wonder about. Sometimes there's a "Last post" displayed for a certain thread, but when I go to its subforum that thread is nowhere in sight.

Here's an example of what I mean. The Video/Audio Clips forum is showing that the last post was in a thread called "Amateur Tickling #4" - but when I go to the forum, that thread doesn't come up on the first page. I know I could just click directly on those threads to see them, but I wonder why "Last post" is displayed when there are evidently no new posts.
 
It might be a corrupt cookie? Can you try clearing your browser and see if that fixes it?
 
It also can be a case where a forum has multiple subforums, and the last post is hiding in one of those.
