Question regarding Sam & Cat (the age issue)

Hey folks i have a question regarding the TV show Sam & Cat (I just found out about it believe it or not) and I have a quesion. According to some Wikies on the Characters they were 18 when the show ended. Both the Sam Puckett profile for the icarly wiki and the Cat Valentine profile for the Victorious wiki say they are 18. Is it okay to then write tickle fiction about them? and is it okay to age them to their 20's since the actresses who played them actually are that age.

Forum policy let's you use these characters in self created media here so long as you follow one rule. You only draw on aspects of the characters that were in the original media where they were over 18. Aging them could well be a violation, as it might be taken as aging them from a point before they were 18 in the media. So that would be a problem.

My idea would be to make them College age, and base their adventured post series. Not "illegally" aging them in series. Mind you i will have to actually watch the show so I know back stories and don't do anything that would imply otherwise.
