I want to get into another anime series. I heard about hellsing. What series out there is good?

Well, if you haven't seen it before, Evangelion. A good movie choice is always Akira. Cowboy Bebop is a truely awesome series, with a wonderful, although sad at times, story. Trigun, for action. Inuyasha, more action, plus a long, and very good story. Rurouni Kenshin, for more of an indepth-action type of thingy.

When in doubt, ask Battousai or Krokus. They are very knowledgeable on the subject.

Yea, Hellsing is awesome, or at least I thought it was. It leaves many unanswered questions, many plot holes, but it has some of the best fight scenes I've seen in an anime series. And Alucard is just too cool! ^^

Other than that, HDS pretty much hit the nail on the head. Give Chobits a try also, it's a heartwarming series. The ending is a love it or hate it affair, but it's worth it. I also highly...HIGHLY reccomend Gravitation...if you don't mind thats it's yaoi, you will love it. You won't find gravi in the US yet though, so download the subbed eps off of Kazaa.

I've always thought Akira was highly overrated. Long, overly-drawn out, incomprehensible, and with an ending that's just painful to sit through.

I've got a soft spot for Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura, and the earlier episodes of Ranma 1/2. (Yes, I'm a Rumiko Takahashi fan, sue me).

I haven't seen much Inuyasha, but what I have seen, I've liked. Other stuff in my collection that I dig includes Devil Hunter Yohko, Dirty Pair, Project A-Ko, and All-Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku.

On the licensed ripoff front, there's Darkstalkers and Street Fighter II V.

Oh, uh... and... *whispers* I like Pokemon.

Thanks krokos. i heard that capcome ripped of hellsing and got the idea for devil may cry from that series, but i'll check it out.

Thanks phin-i never seen dirty pair but i love project ako. I am looking for the box set because there is one part of that i didnt see. I think it was the third one. It doesnt matter i watch pokemon and yu gi oh( i dont know how to spell it)😛

A little note about Hellsing....

I have been hearing rumors that a second series is coming out. Now, these are only rumors, so don't get your hopes up, but, like Krokus said, Hellsing did leave many unanswered questions and plot holes....😉

this is interesting..I think i am seriously considering hellsing. I like anime with a deep involving storyline.🙂
