1. Call in on the regular guest call in line, and be connected like a guest caller. I use this method on the Sports show (like last night) with a few people.
2. Use 3-way calling. This is how I do RobAce Radio. I call my co-host then call the main host line, then connect both calls.
Any questions, let me know....but that is how I do it and have only had trouble once, but it was due to a BTR issue.
Thanks for the detailed reply. I appreciate the help.
Do you happen to know if it's possible to make a show available for people to hear at later dates? I'd like my show to be available for replay at times other than the live broadcast.
Venray does some music shows prerecorded so maybe send him a pm. As for the original problem, has the friend ever used BTR before, as in ran a switchboard? The calling into the host line isn't a problem from a cell at all, but the switchboard is a Flash animation, and a lot of cell phones do not support flash including my iPhone. Every one of my shows I run switchboard from a computer even though I'm "hosting" the call from my home phone line.
As Rob said, its easier for cohosts to just call in like a guest would and you connect them through the switchboard. I've done threeway calls before for co-hosting, but in the event my phone goes on the fritz, using the guest lines the cohosts can keep talking and the show goes on.
