quick question for computer experts

this may sound stupid, but I need to use Internet Explorer to post a lot on TT, as well as other sites, however, unlike AOL, now, when I go to Google, and begin to type in the bar, a list of phrases begins to pop up. For example, I made a post here called "Larisa Olynek bare soles caps", and therefore, this phrase is there as well. The thing is that I got little ones running around on this computer as well whom I wish not to see this, so I need to get rid of that list ASAP. I tried deleting history, cookies, and temp files, but they still pop up. How can I get rid of these in a hurry. Thanks for your time.

Hmmm, I'm not sure on this one, but I might try running Crap Cleaner, which can be found here.

I'd had to use it to deal with computer problems my grandmother's computer had, and I thought maybe it might help with this. Just a thought.

In Internet Explorer go to Tools --> Internet Options --> Content tab --> click on AutoComplete. Remove all checks out of all the boxes under "Use AutoComplete for". To erase your search engine entries so they do not reappear, click on the Clear Forms button under "Clear AutoComplete history". Finally, click OK on the AutoComplete Settings dialog box and the Internet Options dialog box, so the changes you have made are saved. You should be good to go after that.
