Hi all. Just a request for all of you heavy posters out there. I've noticed that a lot of you are using quotes of each other's posts when making replies. This is fine, however, please try to quote only the section of a post you are responding to rather than copying the whole thing. This is especially pertainant when quoting from a post that was long to begin with.
If a user makes a post that is 4 paragraphs long and you are responding to a single sentence, try to quote just that sentence. When you use the "quote" feature to post, simply use your directional arrow keys and backspace key to edit out the stuff that just takes up space.
When threads get long and people are quoting back and forth, it takes forever for pages to load, especially when part of the quote is a picture, then everyone who responds to the last guy's quote with a quote is making everyone sit through several photo loads, even though they're all of the same thing.
This isn't a new rule or anything, just a request to help keep the boards a bit cleaner and easier to navigate for all.
Thanks for your understanding,
Dave2112 😎
