Ray Charles was the greatest! What an incredible musician! And I'll always remember him fondly in the Blues Brothers as the laid back music shop owner with a brutally quick draw.
I'll miss him....

Yeah, he was amazing! If only he didn't have that liver disease then he would still be here today! I can still remember him singing "America the Great" after september the 11th 2001! It was amazing! Wish he was still with us today!

Ray Charles was a master. His music has made a statement in American cultury. Georgia on my mind and America the Beautiful were wonderful. He is going to be missed. God has recieved 2 gentlemen this week.

Many People Sing Well. Many People Play An Instrument Well. Ray Charles Was A Member Of A Much, Much Rarer Species.....entertainer. His Love For People And The Music Always Shown Through In Each Performance. Today So Many "stars" Do Their Audience A 'favor" By Performing And Only Then If Their Ideal, Demanding(childish) Circumstances Are Met. Ray Was Blind And Traveling On The Road Year After Year In Ever Changing Unfamiliar Locations And Yet Able To Blues, Pop, Country, Soul, And Rock His Audience Every Night. "i Can't Stop 'missing' You..." We Folks In Georgia Will Always Have Ray On Our Minds And Hearts.
