I rented the DVD for "The Mummy" just for that scene.

The commentary on the DVD says she was very, very nervous about being restrained. They set the bonds up so she wasn't really tied to anything, but it still drove her crazy (just doesn't like being tied up). Imagine if she found her fears were well-founded....
