Okay, this is how this works, you name a movie, and (come on, this is gonna take some honesty here!) you can only reply with another movie IF you have seen the movie the other person said. (And... you should probably have to have seen the movie your replying with as well.)

I'm going to start off with a REALLY REALLY REALLY common movie, and see if anybody has seen it, and then its they're turn to post.

Y'know, once we get down to movies like "Ghost Dog" its going to be pretty difficult to continue.

I'm starting off with the awesome, but totally under-appreciated movie about Giacobbe LaMotta (better known as Jake LaMotta),

"Raging Bull"

I've seen Raging Bull. And Ghost Dog for that matter. 😀

I'll continue with Fight Club.

Snail Shell

Fight Club is brilliant, a few people i know slate this movie really bad but they obviously don't know much,
I will continue with one of my fav. films Butterfly Effect
......Oh Amy Smart <drools> i'm in luuuuve

Butterfly effect, I love the film, two thumbs up.

Doctor Strangelove or How I stopped worrying and Learned to Love the Bomb.

Peter Sellers and George C. Scott, FTW!

Another Kubrick classic...Full Metal Jacket

"What is your major malfunction?!?" 😎 F.M.J. is one of those you can almost watch twice in the same night.

Okay, George C. Scott got me thinking about Patton. Great flick. I hope it's not too ancient for the membership here. :dead:

Patton's probably my fave WWII movie. Along with Tora, Tora, Tora.

So, Tora, Tora, Tora it is. Let's see who's seen that.

anyone who knows me knows i'm a big military buff, so i've about seen em all. Tora, Tora, Tora was great!

but my personal fav has to be:

Saving Private Ryan

Wasn't a fan of that one actually.

My pick for Best Picture of 2006: THE DEPARTED

Snail Shell

Count my vote in for "The Departed" as well!!!

Another recent movie I enjoyed: "Lucky number Slevin"

Excellent caper flick! Now, Janus, we shall see if you know.....

The Incredibles! Mwahaha!

Snail Shell

LoL! I have little siblings! I've seen The Incredibles!

OK, one of my obscurer all-time faves...My Fellow Americans

Not my favorite Dan Akroyd movie, by any means.

but... here's a Steve Martin Classic...

The Jerk

"I was born... a poor black child..." LOL, classic.

One of my favorite movies growing up was Ghostbusters. I can recite that movie line by line, its really pathetic.

Another classic!

TEEN TITANS: TROUBLE IN TOKYO! Woot!

Snail Shell

So much ink in TT: T in T, damn those crooked cartoon cops!

So another good movie eh? How about...

SCORCHED

Fie on you and your Scorched nonsense! Only two people ever saw that movie and we've both replied to this thread! No more Scorched! Fie I say! FIE!

Now for something nice and generic to get away from that last one:

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Snail Shell

Not one for horror, but I have seen it.

And from the movie shelf next to the TV, I see.....

Alien 3.

Snail Shell

I see your Alien 3 and I raise you an: "Aladdin" (what? were you not a kid once too?)

ah, Aladdin. good as a kid, boring as an adult. how about one of my favorite movies of all time:

The Long Kiss Goodnight

I still think Pulp Fiction was better... but TLKG is right up there in my fav. Samuel L. Jackson movies.

and how dare you FIE Scorched!!! One of the best, upright, barefoot pose scenes was there; the actress - Alicia Silverstone!!!

Hopefully someone here has seen

THE BIRDS

The day after I saw The Birds with a few friends of mine, there were insane amounts of birds at the high school. I thought it was funny, they were heading inside.

First movie to come to mind would be Down Periscope.

haha awesome movie! ^__^ "Welcome Aboard!"

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls
