Rare Diseases

Well I have learned something from my efforts to grow lots and lots and lots of cute widdle baby trees. Namely where there is an abundance of life there will alway be other life that seeks to prey on it. Its part of the natural order so nothing ever becomes too abundant. So if you have a bunch of plants they will be bugs that eat the plants and then there will be bugs that eat the bugs that eat the plants.

So its the same with people I think. We like to think we are in control of everything and to some extent we do have a great deal of control but somehow nature and diseases find new ways to make sure we all dont live to be over 500.

I think the inherent problem is we tend to think of time and ourselves to be in a constant battle. Really the way to think of it is that our time here is limited no matter what and its best to make the most of the time we have. 🙂

Anyway thats the thoughts from the adorable widdle atom. :atom:

I actually studied quite a few of those during vet school...:microsmiley: 7AM lectures - what a rude awakening. Side note:
The Guinea Worm is actually one of the stories behind the caduceus (snake - or in this case worm - wrapped around a stick). :medcopter:
