It's a professional type website, and has nothing to do with "Ladders" as in step ladders. It seems to be like a "Rising the Corporate Ladder" website.

It's a job hunting web site. Similar to monster.com or dice.com. They are good sites if you're looking for employment, but once you're on their list, it is sometimes difficult to get off. Of course, that's a small price to pay if it lands you a good paying job.
