A canny vampire virtuoso who's instantly able to provide vocal accompaniment for his violin concerto! Linework is beautifully clean, and the panel layout inventive (ie. the furling cape used for separation on page one, or the shared hair at the top of page three). The story manages to be involved but concise for a three-pager... intensely romantic, too, in a dashing, bodice-ripping way!
Littlebighead, thank you for the concise analysis. I’m grateful and find your words like scientific dissection (he-he!) because you even noticed that cape and hair. Such ideas come spontaneously without too much planning. It is rewarding when keen observant appreciate this. On the other hand, the story is well thought of and pondered on odd hours of a night. I really intend to give away something quite complete (hopefully) yet emotionally lingering. It is a very short passage yet has an end. :wub
Annoxanti,
I agree that the tickling musical notes it quite innovated. The visual is very cool.
I particulary liked Page 2 lower right panel and Page 3 bottom panel. I find that in both instances your work on the heroine to be superb. Your execution of her pose in each panel is very sexy. Great job!

^ Thanks, Jim. Credit has been given to the origin of the concept, but using substituting musical notes is effective indeed and quite hard to come up with! The panels you mentioned have hard to do angles, as they involve “foreshortening,” which up to now is very challenging to encounter in tickling drawings. And yes, it is my aim to make the comic sexy.
A wonderful and most generous artistic contribution!
As always the art is magnificent, but what I love most of all is the mix of the classical vampire theme with romanticism. But it is this very blend of strange and sometimes dangerous individuals with romantic intentions that makes AnnoXanti's work so unique. She established this with "Lost at Gallakan Cave" and more recently with "Sir Vantickler". Especially with the former I see big parallels. Not just in character intentions, but also the black & white linear style. Now I absolutely love the way AnnoXanti has recently made the move too color art, but the black and white aspect of this vampire mini-story reminds me of the classic erotic print comics from decades past.
And I do agree with everyone else, that "music tickling" was very original! Pure genius!
^ Thanks, Scavenger. You know that it really means a lot when you drop by to give feedback on my arts, much more because you even see through the meaning of each piece! What you said is really the intent behind the works, and that you reminded me once again. Seeing it from other's POV (especially from a respectable artist like you) is enough for me to think that the expression of the comics had been shed. This I appreciate deeply. It's playing in my mind to put contrast in any themes, and you perceived them. Everything is labor of love.
I always look back on to your published arts, especially the big shot combo "Vicky's Defeat I & II." Just looking at the kick-ass cover and intricate details...! You are more than genius.
Nice, thanks for sharing! 🙂
The music notes tickling her is a nice thought. Haven't seen THAT before! Good job!
Oh Welcome, Ilohnoh! If you check out my “miscellaneous credits” in small font, I really did those breve(notes) tickle the woman because I find the concept nifty… but I give credit to it’s origin. It has been based on a thread of Laughinggaszone entitled “Cool Manga Tickling Serties” at TMF, from which chaotic small fonts tickle lees.
