Re-uploading attachments

I've been going over some of my old posts (out of nostalgia, as much as anything) and I've found some of my attached photos/drawings missing. Would it be a good thing for me to edit those posts and re-upload the images, or would that tend to foul things up overall?

That would be excellent if you could. We are aware of some orphaned files. The references to these files were unable to be recovered from the corrupted database.

Uploading them is the best way.
