One morning, after having had a day before where he felt sick as a dog. Ross awakened, and felt truly better.
Kayley was dozing. Ross went to throw on clothes, and quietly slip away.
"I see you with your quiet sneaking out. Get the Hell Back Here?" Kayley ordered.
"Excuse me, Miss School Guard. Today I truly feel fine. No headache, sickness, dizzy spell or neck pain. I am going to try. If I feel sick, I will do just as I did last time when I felt sick, call an Uber, and come home, okay?" Ross said.

As Ross went through his day, Ross was able to call all of the important people. Tim, Fritz, Steve, Larry, and Dave.
"I feel much better. I am going to try, and I stress, try, to come there sometime before the end of the week for one night, for a show. I'm going to bring a nurse with me. Kayley might give me hell, but I will deal with her" Ross said to Fritz on a phone call.

At noon, Ross said to Vic. "Would you please be able to join me for ,lunch, my treat of courses" Ross said.

Victor and Ross went to Shun Lee Palace.

"Vic, the way I feel now, I want to go to Oklahoma at least for a night or two. Let me see if this continues, and if I'm okay, I'm going to call Fritz and Steve, bring a nurse with me, stay in a suite, and then break it to the teacher. She will probably give me Hell, but I will deal with her" Ross said.
"I understand, Ross, but please be careful. Everyone cares for you. Including me" Vic said.

When Ross got back to the office, he called Fritz.
"I am going to try, and I stress, try, to get down there for an oil show this weekend. I will bring a nurse, and stay overnight or for two days" Ross said.

When Ross and Vic got back to the office, he felt fine. At six, he felt he had enough.

I wont beat you up if you come home at 7 or 8, considering I know you have a lot of work to do. An OKC trip is a different story. Please dont consider that until you see how you feel , okay?" "Dont worry about that. I promise I will In fact, I'm going to give it a week and go to the doctor. I just want to get work done here. That week, Ross did feel much better. He met with Tim, Larry, and Dave separately, finished all his New York work, and b y Wednesday made a Friday evening flight to OKC, with plans to go three days.
When Ross got home that night , after kissing Kayley , he said. "I feel fine, as you know. I just made a flight to OKC for Friday night if this continues. I will be back by Monday at noon at latest, and I wont go into the office that day so I can rest, okay?" Ross said.

That night, Ross had another good night's sleep. He hoped on an 11 am plane, changed in Dallas, and landed at JFK at 4, jumping in an Uber home.

"No office for me tomorrow. I'm going to either rest, or just do some things at home. I do not have the patience for a thousand questions, and the phone ringing all day. I will call in and tell Victor that the trip wore me out" Ross said.
