If it's unavailable, it's because somebody has gone through and bumped a bunch of very old threads rather mindlessly.

I don't appreciate the insinuation and it's insulting to think that a member reaching out and appreciating or otherwise commenting on a post (whether one word or several sentences) was mindless. I was gone for a while and was actually catching up from a few months in 2012. I have even commented on posts made just within the last 2 weeks. I've had a member comment on a post I made over 4 years ago; We are now becoming really good friends. If the threads are available and haven't been closed for commenting/not expired, I will leave a comment so the author sees that someone is still looking at their mark made in history and it was appreciated. Since I have been catching up, I've met a lot of awesome people and got to view some nice material. It's one of the things I like about this forum. Also, the age of threads don't cause URLs not to work; The URL worked fine for me. You just have to make sure you rebuild it correctly in your search bar. I looked at over 200 threads in the last week and only commented on fewer than 20. So I am not trying to revive all the threads of 2012, lol. I'm just trying to be a member of the community and reach out. There is nothing wrong with that.
