Just what do the feather means?

Please excuse my ignorance but just what do the Novice, regular and feathers mean?
I am one of the newer memebers here, about 2 weeks maybe and well I just never asked before. My Daddy always said son if you don't ask you will never learn a thing. I didn't won't to appear stupid so that's why I didn't ask before now.:sowrong:

Well... Thanks you guys. I just find it amusing that I am married to one of the more .. uh... NON-STOP posters.. and I am finally considered a regular in the forum here. 😀 I think Ann may have some of the answer pinned down in her thread, but quite frankly, a lot of it has to do with my not feeling well when I read words on a screen too much..(Hence coding is a problem, sorry HAL, you'll note the lack of updates) I have taken to playing with images and playing games more for my time on the computer.

When I get that figured out, I will tie Ven to a bed with the really nice cuffs we bought, tickle him senseless, then I will have my turn!!!! LOL
