Hi everyone, I am working in the next TR saga, I hope that I'll have the first chapter soon, but before it I am working in two comics in dA with my chars and some guest OC from there.

I have finished one of them, I wasn't sure if upload it but after the good reaction in dA I thought it is good enough.

QUESTION
------------
This is my first uploaded comic in Black & White, I was wondering what style you like better the coloured one or this one.
------------

Ok and here is the comic:

NOTE:For those who haven't see it in my forum Reindal is a magical being who is my inspiration, she helps me to get my ideas. Here you have here first appearance. http://www.tickletheater.com/showthread.php?t=51889

-----------------------
" Reindal can't stand still "
------------------------
This comic come from three crazy ideas that came to my mind and I couldn't avoid to draw them, it features Reindal's powers and devious personality, a new "unusual" outfit for Raven and a predicament for Reindal that I always wanted to draw at the hands of a dA friend's inspiration.

At first, I was going to upload the pages here but like in dA every page has its explanation I let you here the link to the first one, every page has the link to the next.

NOTE: No need of getting an account to see them so hope all of you enjoy it.

EDIT I have realised the poll option, so I have put it just in case you want to give your opinion, I want to know which style people prefer.

better with color , you have a style of drawing that ask for color....i think

I also voted for your color work, Raven. Though this bold b&w supplies points of interest... it's finely detailed, and little touches of tinting (the eyes and the word balloons) serve as points of standout focus. Say, TR does fill out that busty dominatrix outfit disturbingly well! Reindal's strategy is an effective one... if anything could rile our bird-boy into vengeful sadism, this outrage should manage it! And that's not the least of her tricks... those magic portals look super-cool while compartmentalizing the fetish victim into convenient configurations! The ultimate in objectification, isolating the most desirable portions for fuss-free abuse! Raven's party-minded, web-footed Lilliputians employ a unique approach too! I can see why Kate gripes about the holes in her floorboards... that form-fitting regiment of pegs has doubtless left an indelible impression on her hardwood... nonetheless, one can hardly imagine restraint more restrictive than this! For Kate's sake, they'd better worm out that secret key location soon... any more of her snickering, and they'll be two sets of lady-like outlines in the linoleum!

I know that doing colours is a lot of extra work (or, it can be depending on how you do the colouring)

In the Jen comic I regularly coloured only the active elements of the comic while leaving the 'environment around them' in a single shade, if that makes sense. So if the panel's background colour was light green (to name an example), the details in the street (not that I put many) would be that green and the character on the foreground would be coloured differently (skin, hair, eyes, clothing, etc.) It is a bit different style - you don't have to go full-colour but can be selective. Maybe an idea if you want to do colouring but not colour every single detail in the panels if you do a lot of detail.

Personally, colour also appeals to me more than black and white. Usually. I found myself liking my b&w shaded Easter picture better looking without applied colours though... it depends a lot on style and such.

I see it has been the clear chosen option, hehe I haven't got a determined preference, it's just I thought that both looked cool so I wanted to see which one to use, even I think I'll use both I try to give priority to colourful one.

Haha, you are not the only one who thought that, there were more people who said something like it on dA, and I admit that I think that too, Raven's new look is disturbingly interesting. Reindal has triggered his evil I think, talking about that I will send you a PM with an opinion question I have. It's very crazy but funny too.

I was thinking on what power give to her and this idea was been around my mind for long ago, it seemed the best moment to use it. And it seemed very useful too!

This guys, the Gibbets are great! They are Kate's inspiration and they have great ideas indeed, like we can see here. I always wanted to draw something like this bondage and they seemed perfect to do it. Poor Kate she'll have to fix the floor after that but well, at least she can have some fun now, right?.

For Kate's sake, they'd better worm out that secret key location soon... any more of her snickering, and they'll be two sets of lady-like outlines in the linoleum!

Haha, if she keeps teasing me that way I think she will be te next around, haha.

Totally agree with you, the good point is that the result are normally more vivid, even I think that the B&W can look great too.

That seems a great strategy, and I can say that you put a lot of work in your comic Ilohnoh, I never thought thay had lack of details. And your comics always looked great. Thanks for sharing wour thoughts.

I saw it and it looked cool too, I think it depends on the picture too, here maybe when Reindal is using her powers some colour would have been great, but the first page where we see Raven in the domme outfit I think it looked great in b&w. Well I don't discard using both but I think I'll give priority to the colour style
