45 years ago today, a great man was taken from us by a cowardly assassin as Dr. King stood on the balcony of his motel room in Memphis. R.I.P. :dropatear This speech is as powerful and moving today as it was in 1963.

He was a great man. I remember listening to that speech on TV back in 1963.

He was one of many who gave their lives so others can live better lives.

Now that he and Coretta are back together I hope they're having a really great time...........:rose: :blackrose:

I am not a fan of "equality"(egalitarianism)...

Dr. King symbolizes freedom and liberty for a race that should not face oppression at any level: political(I despise political coercion, just in case you wonder why I promote just the latter); but, more importantly, socially and economically!
