Now, after Ross thought he had decided that he wanted a "complete freeze on new business being acquired"
After Ross and Vic had a discussion about such, and Ross also discussed such a move with Alan Hell, and Tom the Shark from Philadelphia.
It was then decided by all parties that Ross and RossShell should acquire small to medium size low risk accounts.
Ross did not like it, as he really wanted to put a freeze on new business.
Yet, after being advised that once his account managers finished current business, they would have "Nothing to do" and "be paid for nothing" Ross, after discussion with Vic, Alan Hell, and Tom, knew that he could not do that.
Ross went through the current week in a completely frustrated and downcast mood.
Of course, considering what was going on at RossShell, and Ross's mood, Ross decided to call Fritz and Steve and schedule a three day , two night trip to OKC and Dallas, accompanied by a nurse.
Kayley , for her part , thought that Ross was doing such a trip far too soon, as it was not yet a month since Ross's last trip.
Kayley could see Ross was tired, tense, and Kayley also knew that Ross had an upset stomach periodically.
Ross then did something which would come back to haunt him with Kayley, badly.
Ross and Kayley went out to dinner when Ross came home from work on a Friday night.
Kayley quietly let Ross smell her feet, and also stood barefoot on a ladder for Ross barefoot, but not as high as she usually did.
When Ross and Kayley went to have sex, Ross tried to serve Kayley, with switch sex.

Ross felt just terrible. Ross went to the bedroom, and got Kayley a nightie. Kayley threw the blanket on the bed, put the nightie on, and virtually dragged Ross to the couch.
At that point, Ross could not look Kayley in the eyes. Ross's head was down. He expected to be lashed into.
Kayley, however, who had years of pyschological experience due to her position as a teacher, and now VP, dealing with troubled students on a regular basis, decided to try another approach.
Kayley sighed. "Ross, I know that you are going through hell now with what is going on a RossShell. I have tried to be as supportive as a wife can be. After Ross and Kayley digested their dinner, they got into bed, and just held each other.
"I'm okay with you going to OKC on Monday and or Tuesday., I know that you need to get out of here, and away from the office" Kayley said.
Ross sighed. "As I told you, I'm also a bit upset that Alan Hell and Tom advised me not to put a freeze or hold on new business after RossShell underwent this ten percent contraction. Fine, I will listen to them. This time, however, I'm going to be very careful about what accounts I acquire. I will take on small to medium size accounts only. I will not hire any new account managers, and , if an account which is a bit smaller than I usually do other than someone like Mel or the energy company wants to sign on with RossShell, I will interview the potential client myself, with Vic in the room with me at the meeting, and Vic and I will both discuss our view of the person we interview, and then come to a decision" Ross said.
Kayley kissed Ross.
"That sounds like a wonderfui idea."
Ross and Kayley spent a quiet weekend.

The men studied that week's agenda, which contained at least one investor show, and possibly two, and also up to two potential company buy outs.
Ross sighed, took a calming med, closed his eyes to focus , and just tried to put RossShell out of his mind.
Except for calling Kayley to talk to her, and tell Kayley that he loved her and missed her, as Ross did during every OKC trip.
Would Ross be able to go through his agenda with Fritz and Steve in OKC without being interrupted by a call with a negative development from RossShell which was serious, and which Ross would have to listen to and deal with while he was so far away?
