Ross went to the office the next morning. Then, at 1 pm, Tim and Ross had their lunch meeting at Shun Lee.
"Well, while you were out of town, my business manager and best friend, some events happened. When I told these people that I wanted to hire a forensic accounting firm to examine this company, they did not exactly say "No" or Balk at it, but they definitely had some resistance. " Tim said.
Ross sighed. "I dont like that one bit. It almost sounds like they are trying to hide something. I'll tell you what We can do this one of two ways. Either, when I get back to the office, you let me handle this alone, and whatever happens, happens. You know me, Tim. I can play "Hardball" when I want to. I will tell these people to allow them to let us have the complete examination of this company with the accounting firm, and we split the cost, or the deal is off. Or, we come up with some kind of negotiation. How badly do you really want this company, Tim?" Ross asked.
"Oh, I want the company. I think that we both know that. However, Thsi development makes me highly question the deal, and now my feelings of how badly I want it are about fifty fifty" Tim said.
"Fine. Then I will tell you what. I will go back to the office, try to set something up, and call you or text you as soon as I know, okay?" Ross suggested.

Then Tim continued. "What is going on with your sale of the gas strike?"

The Green Brothers will help this go through much faster than it would have if we did not have them, and their contacts, but it is going to take some time. With as important as this is to Kayley, me, Fritz, Steve, the Greens and their families, I know that I just have to patient. As you know from knowing me for as long as we have known each other, patience is not a virtue when it comes to Ross C and my business., This time, I have no choice but to be patient" Ross said.
"I know that Miss Teacher Kayley will be on you constantly once the strike is sold to get rid of RossShell ASAP" Tim said.
"Yes, and while I plan to do that, I'm going to do it gradually, and not recklessly, just like the selloff of this gas strike. If she tries to tell me to dump RossShell quickly, then my retort to her can be that she is acting like a hypocrite for trying to tell me to dump a major company like RossShell rapidly. I have to work on your constant work, sell off the gas strike with the other guys, and then think about a lot of other things. First things firth. "I need to talk to the reps regarding the sale ASAP. Mister Patrick and me need certain things done before we can consider pushing the sale through. I want to set up a conference call by tomorrow at latest. We must resolve these issues immediately" Ross said.
A rep got on the phone, and made a phone call with Ross for noon the next day. Ross texted the information to Tim. Tim called Ross. Ross then advised. "We can do this one of two ways. Either you let me handle it alone and I tell you the outcome. Or, you let me handle everything,. you are present during the phone call, but you stay silent no matter how heated it gets okay?" "Oh, please let me be present. It sounds like fun. All I do is plan my products and product lines all day. I dont get into the trenches the way you always do" Tim said.
Ross laughed. "I know, Sir Timothy. That is why you pay me so much every year to do it for you!" Ross joked as the men hung up.

Let Mister Patrick or yourself find these people, and then all documents will be turned over. From there, 30 days from the time the documents are turned over, we will expect an answer" The other side said.

Then being on alone, Tim and Ross talked.
"Its the best we could do. Take it, give it the best shot, and however it turns out , it turns out" Ross said.
"Please get me the firm. Since you handle this whole thing" Tom said.
"I will have someone by tomorrow morning. Between Victor and me, we will find someone" Ross said.
"What's your geography this week?" Tim asked Ross.
""You know that I never know until a day or two before. I'm here until a day or two before I'm told to be anywhere. We have phones and texts. I am not busy down there 24-7. If I have to communicate with you or someone you hire to do this from there, you know I always do" Ross said.
Ross and Tim finished, and then Ross went into Victor's office.
"Vic, I need you to do me a huge favor. It really needs to be done before we both go home tomorrow. Tim wants to buy a company, and wants to hire a forensic accounting firm to go through the numbers before deciding whether to buy or not. Please go through all forensic accounting firms, talk to anyone you can, and refer the final one or two to me. I can get us an extra day or two if I have to, but not much more than that" Ross said.

"Tell you what. I will definitely stay home all week. I have to do routine work. Work with the accounting firm to deal with the potential buy of Tim's company. We will spend time together as I will come home early and we will go to AC from early Friday to late Sunday. Then, when you go home to go back to work, I will fly to OKC from Philadelphia,. Is that good?" Ross asked.
Kayley kissed Ross. "Just fine. Now let's go into the shower, and figure out our bodliy movements tonight, and then do dinner, and some other fun things" Kayley said.

"Ross, buddy. I'm guessing you have to stay there this week?" Fritz asked.

I can get down there in time for dinner on Sunday, or we can just meet at the office on Monday. Yours and Steve's choice, partner" Ross said.
"Okay, I kind of figured that. Steve and me will talk about it, and we will keep in touch through the week. Then, when you get down here, I have reason to believe we will be having serious meetings with the Green brothers about how to go about dealing with our nutual gold mine of natural gas" Fritz said.

Ross got back into bed.
"Okay, all is settled. Home all week during your vacation, rational work hours, and AC for the weekend. Then, Ross to Philadelphia Sunday night, you come home, I go to OKC, and will be home ASAP after that/ I hope a few days. You know how important what is happening in OKC is" Ross said.

"Honey, while I cant control how fast the Green brothers introduce us to investors to sell off the strike. I have less control about how the forensic firm handles the examination of Tim's company. I have us and the office to be concerned with. I cant drive myself crazy about something I cant control" Ross said.
Kayley kissed Ross. "You can control cuddling with your teacher the rest of the night, and if I'm up early enough, maybe having a bit of morning delight tomorrow. Please dont go in until 10" Kayley said.

Ross sighed. "Okay, Vic. I will tell you what. We each take half this list. Please call thirteen and I will call twelve. Please give me your top three choices, and I will come away with three choices. Once that happens, we interview all six within the next twenty four hours, I tell Tim, he and I talk to them, and then make a decision" Ross said.

The list was pruned down quickly. By the end of that day, reps from all six firms had been interviewed by Ross at RossShell's office. Ross chose the largest firm with the best reputation in New York and LA., He hired them immediately, told Tim, and Tim sent them all the numbers on the company. Now, for Tim, and for Ross too, it was a waiting game.
Since Ross had promised Kayley he would stay home that week with no OKC trips until Sunday, Ross "played around" with ways to perhaps potentially scale down RossShell. It was a subject and a task he did not relish at all. Each time he came up with a thought, he wrote down a quick thought and put it aside.
Ross came up with the idea that he would be straight with Kayley that he would not do such until, the gas strike was sold off completely. He hoped to get her to agree to that.
Ross left the office before four, and got home. He undressed, showered, and as he was drying himself off, Ross said.
"Kale, after I figure out this forensic accounting firm for Tim's work.. I want to express something to you. I would like to please wait until the entire gas strike is sold off. At that point, I promise you that I am going to prunce down RossShell just as I promised I would, is that okay?" Ross asked gently.
Kayley sighed. "I wish you could do it sooner, but I understand why you need to do it this way. As long as you do not do excessive work except of course for Tim, Fritz, Steve, their work, and Dave etc, I will stay silent. "Ross, my partner, I cannot wait for you to get down here and see us. Things are really coming together" Fritz said.
"I can be down there at a decent hour on Sunday, or we can meet in the office on Monday" Ross offered.
"Get down here say by 8 pm my time Sunday. We will just put your bag in the truck, and find a place to eat. I think we are going to have a rip roaring time" Fritz said.
