That night, after the game, which the Good Guys lost. Mitch and Naomi drove home in silence. When they got there, they went to their room. Neither said a word about one or the other sleeping in a seperate room because they were angry at each other. As Naomi undressed, and Mitch looked at her beautiful body, a lump caught in his throat, and then with her back turned to him, Mitch heard Naomi sobbing quietly: "Nai, I'm sorry, and I love you" Mitch said, trying to elicit a positive response from her. Naomi turned around, hugged him, and broke down in his arms: "I'm sorry too. Iam your wife, and I'm supposed to make you happy. I dont care if you want to kiss my feet or tickle me. I was so angry that I needed a weapon. I want to make you happy, Mitch, but we have to work something out" She said. "I know, and if you're that unhappy playing ball, we'll both quit. You can act and I'll do something else. We dont have to live in Nassau, it can be anywhere you want to, so long as we're together. I just love you so much, you are so beautiful, inside, and out, I dont want to lose you" He said. "You were never going to lose me. Dont you know that when people love someone so much that is when they get crazy. If I didnt care, I never would have gone off half crazy like that" She said. "We'll play out the season, we're both under contract, and then we'll see. I dont want to make any rash decisions" She said. They kissed, and Mitch looked at Naomi's bare breasts: "God, Nai, right now I just want to take a shower with you and make love to you all night. You are so incredible it drives me nuts sometimes" Mitch said. "I can deal with that, but ah you arent going near my feet until I have a shower. These feet are filthy." Naomi said, picking up her dirty bare sole to show to him. "Okay, let's take it together and cleanse our bodies, and our relationship" Mitch said. With that, they went in the shower, and started kissing and horsing around. Mitch couldnt resist giving his beautiful wife a quick playful tickle in the ribs. After that they made love and stayed up all night just talking. They had seemingly reconciled their problems for now, but what would the future hold for their careers in baseball, their lives, and their relationship? Stay tuned.
