Ross left on a Sunday night, for what would likely be a three or four day trip of meetings, bank analysis, meetings between Paul, Ross, Fritz and Steve, a meeting with a banker, and finally, a meeting with the men and their respective lawyers to accomplish this buyout.
As Ross left to do this, Kayley gave him a long kiss. "I know that this is probably one of the most important business deals you've ever done. All my love, and my best wishes to you, Fritz, Steve and Paul, and may all go as planned"

Ross took an early evening flight to OKC, landing at 9 pm OKC time. Fritz and Steve picked Ross up at the airport. They went to a pub for a late supper, and then Ross went back to the hotel. They had a noon meeting first with their own geologists, and then a first dinner meeting with Paul that night.
The next day, the geologist came to the noon meeting. "So far, all of what Paul has said turns out to be about ninety five percent on target There is always room for a few variables or tweaks, but any of that is minor. Thus, my advice would be to push forward with the first part of the buy ASAP Then, we will spend the next few months analyzing the second part of the buyout to have it finished and analyzed well within your target frame of ninety days to buy it" The head geologist said.
Ross smiled broadly. "Beautiful! Hopefully for once all will go as planned. Okay, if this goes through, bonus for you and your assistant geologist for doing this. As I'm sure you know, this might be the most important project that RFS has ever done, even more to than if we signed one thousand investors at once" Ross said.

"You just keep analyzing close to target of what Paul claims and what we hope for, and you will be handsomely rewarded" Ross said.
After discussion at the office with Fritz and Steve that afternoon, Ross, Fritz and Steve went to dinner to meet Paul.
"Paul, all looks right on target. Our company geologist gave us his approval to go ahead with the first part of the buyout. Thus, let's move forth with the process" Ross said.
Paul smiled., "That's great, Ross. Off we go!" Paul said.
The next day, Ross, Fritz, Steve, and Paul met with financial analysis people, and bankers. Again, all seemed like it was on target. Depending on bank fees, etc, it looked like the final price for about fifteen percent of the company would be anywhere from twenty five to thirty million dollars. The terms of the deal were changed a bit for Ross, Fritz and Steve to acquire sixty percent, at fifteen percent quarterly of Paul's company, for "Majority ownership purposes" even though that would hopefully not be an issue.
On Tuesday, there was a meeting with a banker to discuss the company stability, money being financed and such. Ross, Fritz, and Steve were taking loans for each part, payable in a full note one year from the final payments on monthly sales to investors. The payback would likely not be a problem between the assets they were buying, and what they already had in RFS Energy.
Again, all seemed to go as planned, and the road moved on.
Finally, on Wednesday, the men donned suits for the closing meeting between Paul,, Ross, Fritz and Steve Paul's lawyer and RFS's lawyer. The terms were all agreed to, both for the buyout of the current part of the buyout, and the "In principle buyout going forward" of the fifteen percent of the company and majority ownership, which each buyout occurring every ninety days. The contracts were studied by the men, their lawyers, very minor changes were discussed, agreed to, and made, and Ross, Fritz, Steve , and the banker, signed papers and made payment to Paul for the first part of the buyout.
Everyone involved was in a jovial mood. After that, the men went out to a celebration lunch.
Ross took a deep breath, felt incredibly relaxed, and a major sense of satisfaction. RFS Energy had replenished much needed energy product for the company, and for potential investor sales and other means both currently and in the future.
When the meeting was over, Ross , Fritz, and Steve said goodbye to Paul and the other men, and went back to the office.
"Well , partners, with the important business over, what next? One show tomorrow, or does Apple Man have to go home?" Fritz asked.
"I dont "have to" I frankly would like to stay, do a show tomorrow, go home tomorrow night, and not go into the office on Friday, so I dont have to see the office the whole week. Let me call Madam Teacher Guard to run this by her" Ross said.
"Kale, the first part of the buyout is signed and done. We want to do one regular show even if not major just to get some people signed. I promise I will be home tomorrow night and wont go into the office on Friday. I dont want to go in there anyway to dampen my mood. Right now I feel the best I have about business in a long time" Ross said.
"Congratulations to you, Fritz, and Steve for completing the first part of your buyout. No problem. Stay and do a show. I will see you tomorrow night" Kayley said.

Ross clicked off the phone. "Okay, done. I 'm not going home until tomorrow evening. Let's do a show tomorrow morning, and I will get on a late afternoon plane home. I do not want to go into my office this week to dampen my mood with how happy I am now" Ross said
"Very wise move. Okay, let me send out a mass email and text. We will definitely get fifty people, and maybe up to one hundred. It does not matter, because our major project is done" Fritz said.
The "Mass E-mail" yielded seventy five possible investors. Ross, Fritz and Steve met those people early the next day at the fields. After presentation, twenty five signups happened, not great, but with what had just happened with the first part of the company buyout, Ross, Fritz and Steve really did not care or focus on it.
After the show, Ross was taken to the airport, got on a six pm flight, and landed in JFK after midnight. He took an Uber home, arriving before 1 am.
