On October 16, I attended the tickling meeting over at the TES headquarters in NYC last hosted by Lady D and thrash. They are well known among www.bleufetish.com ; thrash was featured in the video Thrash's Tickle Thrashing.

It first started out with a basic intro. to tickling such as giving the dictionary definition and then it got into a little more detailed as to how ticklishness comes from a nervous response. Lady D also explained that she is also able to mental tickle people simply by waving her fingers at them at close range or by distance and that they would react to her just the same way as if she were physically touching them. Lady D went on to explain that she nor official science know why this is possible but it must come from your nervous response combined with anticipation. She also said that interestingly your ticklishness is evoked by your pain receptors and she went on to say that when she suddenly would poke people they would suddenly flinch or swing at her hand with their arms because they want it to stop.

So after the brief intro she told thrash to take off his shoes and get on the bondage bed aka tickle table; just want to say that thrash was fully clothed during this except for is bare soles and holes in his jeans (purposely put there)and he was not physically restrained.

Thrash was laying on his stomach and Lady D was at his feet. She held thrash's left foot and was tickling his sole. She was explaining that the soles are one of the most highly ticklish parts of the body and you can do many different techniques. She said you can scribble and go really fast, you can go up and down with one finger, you can scratch/scrape with your nails; all the while thrash is going crazy on the bed. She then got up from his feet and glided her fingers up and down below his knees. When she got to under the knees and started squeezing it she said that this also works. Lady D then surprised thrash by going to his sides and he practically jumped in the air. After scribbling at his sides for a bit she then went for his ass and explained that most people's butts are very ticklish while simply gliding her nails up and down thrash's ass.

Lady D then instructed thrash to get on his back and people in the crowd commented on how his face turned red. Lady D mentioned that tickling can be a work out for some, the endorphins and adrenaline kick in and this can really lead into good sceneplay. She also went onto explain how the responsibilty of the Top / 'ler is to watch the body language and reactions of the sub / 'lee and make sure everything's alright. Watching for signs of hyperventilation, breathing going up and down, making sure the environment is safe (meaning that there is nothing on the floor or nearby that somebody can fall and hurt their head, such as radiators). Lady D mentioned that you don't want to see your sub / 'lee pass out and when you see them starting to cough or breathe very heavily you have to watch what you are doing. As you get to know the people you tickle you now get to know how much they can take and what their normal reactions are like. As you develop the trust between the 2 partners you now know what to expect and are now aware as to what things should alert you or not with that particular person. Lady D also mentioned that for first time tickle partners they should always be cautious about the normal warning signs, not meaning the more experienced tickle players should ignore them.

After the explanation and when thrash calmed down Lady D went on to more tickling. She went to thrash's stomach and sides causing thrash to convulse on the bed. Lady D laughed and said you can always get good reactions over in this area. She then went down to his balls and explained that men have these two little things here that are very ticklish and tickled thrash's balls for a bit. She then went down to thrash's head and told him to lift up his arms because there was one place she forgot to go for; the armpits. She attacked his armpits causing thrash to SCREAM and jump around on the bed. After this Lady D made thrash get on his stomach again and she climbed on top of him. She went onto say that when you don't have actual restraints to use you can use your body for bondage. She was sitting on thrash's ass and was tickling his sides while explaining this. Lady D then turned around and went to thrash's feet and was tickling it for a bit while doing a "little piggy went to the dungeon" sing-song on his toes.

After this the tickling was over and both Lady D and thrash open up the crowd to the Q&A session. Some people mentioned in the crowd that they were thinking "oh tickling, hmppf, what can that do?" but were now exposed to it first hand and learned a lot about it from the class. Then people were asking how Lady D and thrash were exposed to tickling. Lady D mentioned that she absolutely hates being tickled but loves tickling others. She mentioned that for her tickling is pure punishment and she doesn't enjoy it. She finds that with her subs it is rewarding for some and punishment for some and she likes to see people laugh and communicate/bond with her subs through tickling. Thrash mentioned that he doesn't call himself a tickle fetishist but will engage in tickle play with people he trusts and connects with, especially if he knows the Top likes to tickle.

Then Lady D went onto mention the TMF to the crowd and mentioned that they have now 50,000 members so there are a lot of people into tickling in some form or another as one would think. Thrash mentioned that some people like tickling, tickling others, reading about it, fantasizing about it, tickling before sex.. you name it. Lady D then went onto mention that majority of the members of TMF are not part of the BDSM realm and their interest is really into only tickling and do not engage in other fetish activity. She went onto mention that if someone were to mention tickling being a fetish that many of the TMF members would passionately deny it and say that it is something that they enjoy, part of their essential sexuality, and they never think of it as a label or a fetish.

So that was the basic rundown of the tickling class. Thanks for reading.

This is excellent, I will have to speak with these people for input on my tickling Institute.

Wow...that sounds like one heck of a workshop! Thank you so much for sharing what you learned!

Sounds like a wonderful, educational time was had by all!!! 😀 I'm intensely jealous!!!! 😀

the hollywood brother did not know there was this type of workshop. it sounds real interesting but it is a shame they did not say how great this forum is

My thoughts on seeing this--

I'm bored, I'm so totally awake, and have had way too much coffee. Forgive me. Even skip this post if you like, but here's a ton of thoughts while waiting for the caffeine to die off.

I totally agree, Bro- She mentions the TMF and we all know TT is far better (shameless plug for us!)

There are many workshops like this for bdsm, tickling, u-name-it. TES is one that excells in bringing newbies and outsiders into the fold and helps to some degree to dispell the many myths surrounding fetishs.

That said, they don't always hit the mark as solidly as they could if they were to use the right people to demo. They've missed the mark on tickling each and every time. Videos and those starring in them, pro doms, tickle webhosts, and those who merely write stories and post are far from reality and even further from being masters of this craft called tickling.

I figure it like this; Just because he played a Doctor on film, I wouldn't call upon George Clooney to do surgery on me or teach me medicine to do on others. So they should be the very last ones giving a workshop.

With workshops, like in anything, it really depends on what level you wish to take it to. Some are more underground, the better ones I think. They're not trying to sell you anything. Some, like TES, are accessible to anyone.

I usually avoid the club and workshop things unless someone I know is doing it or someone I really respect in the bdsm world. Clubs and all that seem too fake to me, all 'showtime', so missing the passion, devoid of ---something. Can't figure it but it's missing something.

I went to this TES demo. The word tickling caught my eye. This one was a light level I felt more for entertainment. Imo I found it was far from hardcore or enlightening in relation to the many levels out there. But in retrospect it related to that target level of audience very well; intro to tickling.

For those more advanced- there was no scene setting, headspace, or tickling used in bondage or true bdsm applications. It didn't cover anything technical nor anything about how our scene started, who created it, tickling in history, or mention any of the true masters in it. There was no bondage. She at least had a spark to her whereas most doms are very poor at this, most paid doms being very passionless. It was probably done more so to sell tapes.

She made a good point about ticklers being totally unaware that their fetish was derived from the S&M world in the 1970's. Kujman, Bishop, and Campbell being responsible for most of it, though she didn't go into any of that.

Cavum and a few others have posted that few people ever take tickle/bondage to the next levels. I really agree. I read a post on another BB that said 'Keeping a car in the same first gear all the time gets old real fast. Variety is nice'. I totally agree.

In this case I felt she simply got her knowledge from others who were far more advanced and she merely skimmed the surface to appeal to just ticklers. TES usually does that because there's a lot of newbies there and you can't blame them for not wanting to scare anyone away, can you?

If you want the best tickling has to offer in all aspects, take in a Kujman demo> He'll knock your socks off with displays, photos, bondage, Q & A, technical stuff, headspace, and history knowledge. None better.

Sir Michael is another one you may wish to take in, he's got a knack for the theatrical and passion, the greatest looking subbies, and very experienced in what he offers too. A great rigger, specializes in Japanese bondage. Great guy. Looks like David Copperfield a bit to me

Seeking just pure straight out bondage? Seek out Lew Ruebens or the Knotty Boys. Some of the best riggers today. Endlessly creative, great looking subs. Lew especially is a wonderful gentleman.

Looking for a female dom who is deeply into this? Try the Lady Fiora. Underground, but the best of female doms. Hint: don't request tickling. She hates that. Let her find out for herself. If she finds out you're ticklish, you're dead meat. No escape. Leave consensuality behind. If you're really really ticklish, you won't even have to pay her.

But be warned! If you're a faker? Or if she even suspects it? She lay a cane across your ass that'll have you eating standing up!

I need a cookie.
