Where to start....well...I always like to give
posotive criticism to any artist/writer....being
one myself. So...I will say the art is...not
very flashy...but well crafted. I'm certain a lot
of hard work went into it and the artist should be very proud of his/her accomplishments. I'm sure they will
be quite good doing future comics as they develop
their skills.

Ok..I said something nice..now for for the blunt truth.
This book blows big time!!! Out of 24 pages..there are 4...count
them 4...pages with tickling...mediocre tickling at that.
You don't even get to any tickling till the 11th page.

I've seen more sustained tickling scenes in mainstream comics than this book. What were you thinking??? This is more a mainstream
Dungeons and Dragons comic than a tickling book. It advertises
the second issue do out for July. I certainly won't be buying that...not if it's anything like it's predecessor.

Guys..take a page from BZ & FTKL or Ozzy...intros are great..but get to the point of the book. If your point was to sell a Dungeons and Dragon story...don't advertise it as a tickling comic. If it was
to sell a tickling comic....you missed your mark by a long shot.
As a comic writer and artist...I sadly have to rate this as the
WORST attempt at the genre. For $19.95 it's a complete rip off
and I strongly suggest you reavaluate your next production.
Sorry...but I just wasted $20 and I'm not happy just saying..."Oh well".

That's a lot of venom for someone with two total posts. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, but I would be interested in hearing several viewpoints.

Here is another viewpoint. I totally agree with the first post. I could not have summed it up better myself. The artwork was good as far as artwork goes, but I would have preferred a little more realism with the tickle scenes. It looked way too cartoonish. And the tickle magic was not that great an idea. The tickling got a very mild part, and it did seem very much like a Dungeon Dragon story. It has to get better before I will buy again. Also, the best ticklee would have been the girl strapped to the table. But it never happened. Oh well.........

oh well....

I must admit that is why it was brilliant for MTJ to do some FREE edition of their work first before they went to a paid subscription. First, it generated a buzz about his stuff and he also could get feedback and improve the product before charging people and thus avoiding this problem.

i hope MTJ will make an 'adult' themed product soon, and let an artist like BAC really go wild! mtj already knows I'm pushing for that 🙂

anyway, I think that was smart of them to do a few for free while they got their stuff together.

Just a quick response to "ticklevids" comments concerning MTJ Publishing.

The "Morandilas's Ticklers Journal" was my very first community offering. It was a free monthly e-publication devoted to tickle torture fiction. The idea for Tales from the Asylum magazine and the creation of MTJ Publishing sprung from the journal. So the idea evolved more than it was planned.

MTJ Publishing is about producing high quality tickle torture fiction and art and has always been gauged for mature audiences. But our print publications have always been lite on sexual content with our main focus being tickling. Tickling has and always will be our main focus. None of our current or future print publications will ever contain hard core sexual elements. However several of our current electronic publications do have spicier adult themes such as the Hal Young's series of erotic e-novels, Jason Rubis's "Make Him Laugh" series and all of our authors and artists have been given greater latitude in depicting sexual situations in our e-publication line of products. Those of you that purchased the April, & May issues of "Yenny's Ticklish Adventures" can testify that erotica was alive and well in those two issues. Nevertheless tickling will always play the primary role..

response to raul

In response to your post...how many times I have posted here is irrelevant. My opinion is as valid as any others. In addition,
I have supplied fact just as much as opinion. Fact....there are 4 pages out of 24 that contain tickling. I would say that is damning
in itself. As far as venoumous...hmmm...you need to get out more.
I was hardly venemous. Extremely critical..but venemous...I don't think so.

Well, it is a physical comic, right? Why not sell it on Ebay and recoup your loss if you feel ripped off? Of course, I'd suggest something a bit more positive in your review if you went that route.😀
