Revised lezdom/tk album

Site access and thumbnails work just fine. Some mighty good illustrations!

:exclamati Very interesing. Hey...Littlebighead didn't give his critique! I will do it for him.
The Buxom beauties displayed on this website are well worth the watching, your artwork is superb, to the tee. I would suggest you ink them, then scan them. Thus making it even better. What a joy it would be for others to see this collections of a piece of work! Also Journia too. Heh.

I ain't a trained seal, J! :tounge: Besides, I went into detail for Betchass' last thread (the one which led into this)!

Sure did, lol. Thanks guys.
Funny, I think pencil drawings look so much better than ink. Of course, my scanning methods are primitive, and I don't invest the kind of time someone like this does:

(the tk community needs an artist like this)

My sketches don't go into this detail (I'm a music major), but I still feel like ink takes away some of the softness. Here's the most ambitious sketch I have, from a few years ago.

The pictures in that Brian Duey portfolio are amazing! I'm not a fan of photo-realism generally (I like my art to be a bit more free-form and interpretive), but it's impossible not to appreciate such a wealth of fine, sharp detail!

As for your own work, Betchass, I've always been impressed with your sense of artistic economy. Form, movement (or, more often, restrained movement... bodies either relaxed or in tension state) and attitude are always clearly conveyed through a minimum of well-chosen lines. And your point about the soft, etheral impression suggested by pencil-work is well taken. As much as anything else, your drawing puts me in mind of the sketches animators use to guide finished animation cells (hence my frequent comparison of your style and that of Ralph Bakshi's... you and he seem to favor the same buxom, well-rounded body type and character-filled face)... the difference between the director's more fluid original and the hard edge of the inks, necessary for cartoon repetition, is often startling. A good deal of soul tends to be lost in the process.
