Ringing in the New Years

Well, it's New Years Eve. Has been for a few hours, in fact. Now that 2006 is on its way out, I figured I'd start this so people can share their memories of the past year or their hopes for the new one. Maybe even list a few New Years resolutions or just what kinda party you guys are gonna be having.

Thinking back, this past year has been one helluva ride for me. I've made tons of new friends, gotten out of a rather difficult situation in my life, moved into a house with two friends I love like family, and became active here and found people who accept and care about me. I love you guys, I really do.

To save myself from sounding uncharacteristically sappy, I'll also share my plans of drinking much tonight as my roommates and I celebrate the coming of '07, and the passing of '06.

Best memory of 2006. That's a toughie. Well, I came out to one of my best friends, and nothing changed b/t us, so that definitely makes the list. Also, a few things come immediatly to mind; let's just say there have been several instances this past year of me having a very difficult time and my friends here at TT being there for me 101%, which also definitely makes the list 🙂

Resolutions: To have a totally awesome time in Februrary, (won't be that hard😉 )

To come out to my other, closer best friend; this is gonna be a bit tougher😱

The hollywood brother do not have a 100 percent answer

Hmm...well, nothing comes to mind save for the hanging of Saddam Hussein.
Not that I wanted him to hang, I just get an infernal kick out of seeing somebody hang. Like in the Crucible. Where they hung John Proctor and Goody Putnam. That was so cool the way they sang the lord's prayer backward. Yes...I have a real thing for Hangings.

1. Meeting a certain member of this certain site on this certain internet via a certain Yahoo Messenger conference. 🙂

2. Midway shipping the best fighting game of all...Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.

3) Winning several poker tournaments this year, and winning an opportunity to take part in the 2006 world tournament. (unfortunately had to decline due to personal reasons though, but the sheer fact of knowing I have what it takes to take part in such a tournament rocks! 😀

So many good memories this year...2006 wasn't a bad one, as far as years go...

New Years Eve was spent with my fiance and a bunch of my oldest and dearest friends in Philly getting completely wasted and having a wonderful time together! I'm still nursing a hangover...

2007 should be interesting--I graduate from my grad program in December of this year! I can't believe it!

So, here's to 2007...whatever she may bring...

1) As you have stated (and as I just realised), I am older than you, so in some weird and freaky way, I have lived a longer and fuller life than you! so bleh! 😀

2) Drawers are the future. One day they'll be able to cure EVERY disease and illness and medical problem with only a pencil! And when that day comes, You'll be...laughing! 😛

3) Like I said, the Good/Evil balance needs you. You're one of those "on the border guys" who varies between Good and Evil. xP

See, 3 whole reasons to why you're more important! 😀

Well, it was nothing. It was just a good chance to pester new ppl and make a fool of myself while trotting around with a line in my arm.

And the reasons why you're more important that me is:

And my life is a bit of a mess: moments of intense activity, longer periods of lethargy...
Not good for anybody's health.
