Comedic actor Rob Schneider (Saturday Night Live) as "The Phantom Tickler" - How's this for a movie concept?
Maybe it could be somewhat of a parody of "I Know What You Did Last Summer." Rob could play a kind of a loser dude who doesn't have much luck with women. Anyway, you could have a few notable Hollywood Hotties such as Mena Suvari, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tara Reid, Sarah Michelle Geller, etc. who play spiteful, attractive, single women who play practical jokes on poor Rob until they accidentally cause his untimely death. The women try to cover up the crime, but then Rob returns from the dead only to haunt the girls with seductive tickle torture until they confess their sins.
I don't know - just a thought. But I think it's time that we in the on-line tickling community join forces and use our efforts to try and influence some of these major studio producers (or even independent filmmakers) to make a feature-length motion picture with a "tickle-torture theme".
After all, weren't we the thousands of tickling enthusiasts who got Howard Stern "The King of All Media" to get Pamela Anderson into the Tickle Chair. I truly believe that if we all start looking for and e-mailing screenwriters and producers, together WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
I also believe whole-heartedly that the country is ready for a main-stream motion picture with a tickling theme. I just know the box office potential would be surprisingly phenomenal. Because, let's not forget the Christmas toy hysteria of just five years ago. Does the phrase "Tickle Me Elmo" ring a bell?
And it doesn't just have to be the Rob Schneider idea I just suggested. It could be anything. Drama. Western. Sci-Fi. I'd like to know what you guys and gals think. Do you have any suggestions? Do you know of a Hollywood producer or Independent producer who can be influenced? I'd like to hear your thoughts on the subject.
