Rock Singer Robert Palmer Dies at Age 54

I just heard about it on AOL Lime. How sad. I liked Palmer's music, especially his song "Simply Irresistable". What is it with all the young people passing lately? First John Ritter, now Robert Palmer. Both were only 54, which is way too young to die. It is so sad. All we have left is their legacies.

It is a shame that another entertainer has passed. I know that I loved not only his solo music (and videos 😀 ), but also the Power Station song "Some Like It Hot."

Sigh....

Yet another 54 Year old.....time to start worrying........

Sigh..............

.......yes life just is not fair, especially when you consider that Cliff Richard is still alive and still "performing"......why?

wow...this is really unbelievable, i remember listening to his music growing up...i loved the spoof he did of his music video as the pepsi commercial.

will this ever end??

Shit, i'll tell ya this is getting ridiculous. All the great musicians and actors I grew up watching and listening to are dropping like flies..what the hell is goin on here?? Don't you think this is a little strange? Or is it just me😕 Palmer I had no clue was dead. This is sad news once again. I will say again.. the TMF general area has become the place I go to see what other great people have gone.

your right dsk alot of talanted people have gone way before their time lately. I was shocked to hear the news of Robert Palmer yesterday. I loved his music and his style. What this all teaches us is never to take life for granted and live your life to the fullest.

Another likable and famous person leaves us. Our Robert was a smooth lad who's seen around having the finer things in life. Oh yeah Judy, he was living it large.

I was a fan of Robert Palmer's, especially his song "You're Gonna Get What's Coming". Shame to hear of his death, scary he had a heart attack after just getting as clean bill of health a couple weeks ago.
Though I haven't listened to anything he's done since the 80s, I went as far back to his blues/soul band from the early 70s called Vinegar Joe.
