With Fritz's condition unstable, and seemingly going back and forth from getting better to worse, a Heart Specialist from a major heart hospital in Miami, was brought in to see Mister P
As it turned out, forty years earlier, Ross's grandmother had double bypass at the very same hospital, when she was 67, and she lived until she was 93.
Not surprisingly, the massive frame of Mister P, was weakening his heart, and was impeding his recovery.
The Heart Specialist from Miami performed tests, and told Mister P that when Mister P did recover, Mister P would have to lose a significant amount of weight from his nearly 300 pound frame, to help Mister P's recovery, and prevent further heart issues.
Since Mister P had already undergone two heart operations in a short period of time, a bypass, and another procedure, yet a third procedure would only be done if it was absolutely essential.
In the meantime, to prevent even further problems, while the evaluators were evaluating RFS Energy, Ross and Steve were able to convince the evaluators that all checks to investors must be sent on time, to prevent even further problems, such as accusations of mismanagement, and possible lawsuits that Frtz, Steve, Ross, and RFS, did not need with all of Mister P's health problems, and everyone's emotional state.
RFS monthly distribution schedule was given to the evaluators, who looked it over, and approved that all distributions be sent out on time. Also, Mister P gave Ross, and Steve Power of Attorney to make all business decisions for RFS while Mister P was incapacitated. with Mister P's attorney keeping watch for Mister P's interests.
Events were moving slowly, but luckily in the right direction.
Additionally, it was decided that no new business decisions, such as new oil and gas investors and or deals, would all be on hold until Mister P was out of the hospital, home, and at least getting back on his feet.
While Mister P seemed to be making progress medically, it would still be a long , hard , road, until he was really on the way.
As the week and the next week went on, Mister P was allowed to get out of bed, be wheeled around in a wheelchair, and to walk a few steps to balance himself on the walking bar for patients who were recovering from major procedures.
As Mister P recovered, Ross was advised to go home for longer periods of time, and would visit for more brief stints , on a weekend, or for a few days, instead of spending the whole week in OKC as Ross had been doing when Mister P was in his most dangerous condition.
Ross and Kayley were home together, leading as "normal" lives as possible, after such a serious event.
Ross was "having fun" again, at least somewhat. Ross was going into the RossShell office, having his little "sparring sessions" with Charles Harton, and Timothy, and playfully joking.
"Fuck this place. I could sell RFS even if Mister P makes a one hundred percent recovery, open up a New York office of other ventures with Fritz and Steve, and be just fine. "
In reality "Selling RFS" was the last thing on Ross's mind. If Mister P God Willing made a full recovery, RFS would eventually get back to normal, even slowly and gradually.
There was talk by the Heart Specialist of sending Mister P to a Rehab Center , instead of home, when Mister P's time in the hospital ended, to allow Mister P to spend time focusing on walking more, and building up his strength, gradually.
Yes, All events "Looked like" they were headed in the right direction.
However about 24 hours before Mister P was scheduled to be released from the hospital, another potentially serious setback occurred with Mister P's health and recovery.
What was this setback? How would it affect the progress of Mister P' recovery? How serious really was the setback?
Those things would be seen.
