(Well after a year of waiting, 'Santa May vs. Krampus' is finally out! I have to be honest, I'm really excited about this book. It's something I've dreamed about writing, and publishing for a few years now. I finished this book last year, and waited until Christmas to finally release it! So like I mentioned before, this book was inspired by several things. The first thing this book was inspired by was 'Dead Space'.
The way 'Dead Space' inspired me is kind of strange. While playing that game, I started remembering 'The Simpsons' episode 'Homer's Phobia'. At the end of that episode a man named 'John' tells everyone that Santa (in Japan) lives on the moon. So while playing 'Dead Space', I started thinking about that, and here we are now!
Another thing that inspired this book was a tornado. Now take this with a grain of salt, but I saw on the internet somewhere that someone built a tornado proof building that could withstand an F5 Tornado. Well an F3 manages to tear it down. In my book, the Santa's think they know Krampus, and they can prepare themselves against them. In this book, Krampus acts completely different from what is expected. Because of this, he's able to cause so much damage!
