Saving Chat Room Settings and Java Version question.

Is there a way of saving the chat room settings so that I don't have to retype my info each time I sign on? I click on "save" after I enter the information, but if I logoff and close the browser, the next time I enter I have to type it all in again.

Also, Is there a preferred Java to be used with the chat room? I've tried Microsoft Virtual Machine and Sun Java. They both seem to work about the same except Sun Java plays the room sound effects (the sounds of people entering and leaving chat, posting new text, etc. Microsoft Virtual Machine does not play the room sounds, at least it never has for me.

Any help would be appreciated!

BTW I use Windows XP Home with Internet Explorer Version 6

Sun's Java is the "official" version of Java, so you can't go wrong with it. I'd say prefer it over Microsoft's VM unless something specifically requires VM. As to the other question, more knowledgeable folks than I will have to answer it.

There is no way to save settings in the room. Sorry.

As for the Java, the most recent relaese on Sun.com that matches your ssytem and browser is always the best.

Saving Settings

Maybe in the future, settings can be saved with an updated version. For now, just having the chat room is good enough for me.
