saving youtube clips

I'm noticing that when im trying to save a youtube clip to my files from time to time clips are not copyable. I usually use realplayer when doing so and the record box appears on the top of the clip im looking to save so its easy to copy. Whats going on now more and more is that record box doesnt pop up...anyone else seeing this happen?? Any solutions?
