I feel your pain! Actually the doc's orders for me are water. I make an allowance for green tea though, and I make my own, brew it so dark you can't see through the glass. Cheers!

The only reason I say that is that I've noticed in my experience that those who have a heavy addiction to alcohol tend to jump into a different addiction to cut off attention from the current.

All that I've experienced have gone from dropping alcohol to becoming strongly attached to drinking coffee and Coke. All day long. Another I've seen transfer from alcohol to caffeine and whippets. [huffing] .. I know everyone is different , but when one is addicted to one thing and wishes to drop it entirely , the natural turn of course is to attach yourself to a new addiction.
