Scary Reminders

I just got a nice scary reminder of how fast things can turn ugly. Went outside to walk my dogs, morning ritual don'tcha know, and found my dog throwing a real fit. I was outright amazed, she is normally so well behaved, so I looked over to see 2 little dogs barking up a storm, with my neighbor laying on the ground not moving. I ran my dog back up to my home and ran outside to check on her. My neighbors had already called 911 by the time I got there. I managed to get her semiconcious, enough to know she was not injured. Luckily, she is okay, she suffered heat stroke. Heat stroke at 10am

Kinda a scary reminder, don't yell at your dog for throwing a fit until you know why. My neighbor will be okay, thanks to her and my dogs.

Thanks P50, but I can't accept any credit for anything. Tis the dogs that did the work, I would have never seen her had her dogs not thrown a fit and alerted mine. Canines, they are a lot more intelligent than we give credit. My dogs never cease to amaze me.

MY dad was shouting at our collie Slippers because she would'nt stop barking at about 3 AM one morning. (I was about 6 months old at the time.) In the end he got up and bellowed at her to be quiet.

Next morning he found the ignition lock on his car had been vandalised by 2 arseholes trying to steal the car.

Live and learn and love dogs!

Glad your neighbor's gonna be ok. Just one word of advice - MOVE!

It's Arizona Sole_Seeker lol. You walk outside after 9am during the summer and it is literally like walking into an oven. I'm very careful myself. People don't believe me when I say watch your hydration levels and your persperation. Tip folks: if you stop perspiring, and it is hot out, there is something very wrong!!

I was on a flight from Dallas to Los Angeles, with a one hour layover in Phoenix.
I sauntered outside the airport to escape the crowds for awhile, and couldn't believe the blast of heat after walking through those doors.
It wasn't crowded at all outside the terminal !

Also hubby and I are on our way relocating to
Sedona,Az where we will be staying with my folks
for awhile while they look for a place to buy
hubby and I our own condo..My folks are getting
older and they are concerned about not having
a roof over my head when they pass on so they
are buying us a condo so they can rest and know
hubby and I are taken care of..

WOW!!! Those are some awesome parents you have there. Yes, be prepared, it is EXTREMELY warm here right now, and humidity is dangerously low. so be prepared!!

Thanks 4Pawz 😀 Yes you are right about my folks being wonderful to hubby and I,especially when we need them the most..We made it here alright ,and things are going well .Past few days have just been getting settled in,and sitting around like a conference and seeing what all is going to be happening..
My one parent loves to be inside most of the time with the air conditioning on,while my other parent loves to be outdoors washing cars,ect and always has a bottle of water nearby..Hubby and I enjoy the warmth here in Sedona,but I'm thinking it is alot hotter in Phoenix than here in the valley..I don;t know if you know where Sedona is ,but it is close to a town named Cottonwood..
4pawz,do you know who could tell me about upcoming gatherings in Arizona?? or do the Arizona tickle folks head out to California for
tickle gatherings??..I checked on the TMF gatherings for west coast gatherings and looks like california is where the west coast people attend gatherings..Doesn;t need to be a big gathering,even hubby and I would be open to meet for drinks,or lunch with others that live
in Arizona..
