After American Graffiti, there were lots of movies about 50s and 60s youth like "The Lords of Flatbush", "The Wanderers" and "Diner". One of the best was "Cooley High" which basically tells a similar coming-of-age-in-the-60s story, but from an African-American perspective.

This scene....a situation we can all relate to.....is a guy and a girl trying to break the ice. I've always had the hugest crush on this actress and this scene.

I have an upgrade of this beautiful scene! If you downloaded this the first time, delete it and take this one, her pencil dress totally makes it. The old version was cropped and "zoomed-in" so you didn't get the full effect, trust me.
