School-Did You Like It, Or Hate It?

I loved my entire childhood. From elementary school to High School, I loved every moment. I didn't do any spectacular during these years, I was just a happy kid. I often tell my mother that if I had to relive my childhood EXACTLY the way it turned out, with the good AND bad experiences, I would do it in a heartbeat. Adulthood truly sucks.... Take me back to the days of lesser responsibility anyday!

High School was a lot of fun. As a matter of fact, I am still around the school on fridays in the fall, dealing with the football team. My High School was a traditional football power and there is so much pride and passion for the football team, you just become a part of it.

I was a really great student, so I didn't have any gripes with teachers or classes. I wasn't in the "A" crowd (football players/cheerleaders clique), but in the "B" crowd, where everyone knew who I was, but just not part of the "A" crowd.

Damn, can I please go back to life the way it was from 1977-1990 for me again?

For the most part I liked it. High school and college were some of the better years, but yeah.

Education-wise, hated it. I learned more from self-learning after Community College. I am more intrigued as an adult too pick up, and read, and write more. In school, I could only learn what was on the syllabus, and looking back, most of my teachers were idiots in what they pushed in my brain.

I HATED grade school. High School was better--but I went through THE worst bullying/teasing/making-fun-of by the kids in grade school that I can't ever wish on a person. Long story short--they tested me for Autism--found that I wasn't Autistic--but "something" was wrong--"something" was there. I found out later in life what that "something" was....it was Asperger's Syndrome. Probably the main contributor of my behavior in school.

I have a couple of more recollections about HS and college.

I only saw one tickling incident in my entire four years there, and yes, the girl being tickled was 18, so I can post it. I know, because she was in some classes with me.

One day I'm in the lunchroom, and this girl Trina, who I had a science class with, and who had rejected me, when I asked her out, was getting tickled by several guys. She kept falling all over the place, banging into people. At the time, tickling did nothing for me sexually, so I just thought it was funny how she kept getting tickled, and was causing such a commotion in the lunchroom. At the time, I was only into feet, not tickling, so my objective in wanting to get a gf, was in wanting sex, and to be able to kiss and play with her feet. I seriously don't recall any of my friends or acquaintances, in either HS or college, making a big deal about tickling. Although one funny thing I do remember in college was this girl Joy, who was dating a friend of mine who was about 6'4. Joy would routinely sit on this guy, and physically "beat him up", and tickle him. I used to be like to him. "Why don't you just sit on her, and tickle her feet, if she's annoying you". His reply was "She's very strong, and she's really not that ticklish".

"Fetishes" in school just really weren't either discussed, or paid attention to. One of my friends in college admitted to having a boot fetish, and my friends all knew I had a foot fetish. Besides that, it was just kind of "Whatever". The same friend with the boot fetish used to say to me "Mitch, I know these girls who are easy lays. All you get from them would be sex". I was disinterested. Maybe it was the "conscience" in me, but my reply was "Okay, sex.. so fine.. what else do we do with them?".

I had one friend for a while, in college, who was a real asshole. His goal was to have sex with, and devirginize, as many girls as possible. I was friends with this guy for only about two years. Not counting the girls he probably cheated with, who he didn't tell me about, he acquired, had sex with, and then dumped, at least four girls, in two years, cheating on every last one of them. For example, and I'm not using their real names of course, but.., he would be dating Jenny.. cheat on her with Michelle, then dump Jenny.. be with Michelle for a while.. get tired of Michelle... cheat on Michelle with Allie, and then dump Michelle, etc. One time he had broken up with this girl on campus, and was dating another girl near his home. After a while.. he went back to the girl on campus, and was cheating with her, while still dating, and having sex with the girl at his home. Nice, huh?

This guy was the only person I knew who did that. Most of the other people I was friendly with, had only one person at a time.

It's cool to remember times like this.

I was a nerd in primary school, but secondary school I got into a band and started smoking and drinking and all that jazz. I still got on with work though, just had a good time as well.
At the time, older people were always telling me to "enjoy it while you can, these are the best years of your life" and at the time i just thought fuck that i cant wait to get out. But now i realise why they were saying it. I don;t think they're the best years of my life, but they were a lot of fun with little to no responsibility.
Then again, growing up with this fetish wasn't easy at times.
