"So what's up with all this 3-D stuff anyway?" - I asked myself.

So I decided to find out what the deal was, and subsequently, have spent the last few months becoming more than a little bit obsessed with Poser.

Disclaimer: I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. The pictures that follow are not even close to being complete, and they probably never will be, but damn it if this crap isn't the most fun I've had since I discovered the tickle button on "The Sims"!

If there is enough interest I will post more, but for now I submit only a small, humble offering of amateurish, half-finished screen shots for your sick minds to ponder.

To anyone who actually remembers my previous artwork posts, (gasp!) you may have realized that the stars need to be aligned just right for me to actually post something, lol, but I hope someone out there gets as much depraved enjoyment out of these as I got making them! :lol

It looks like a comfy chair of some kind. The kind of chair where the tickler can sit and have the feet of the ticklee in front of his/her lap, nice position for tickling. 🙂

I love all of them!! I have recently attempted to use the 3D programs.. with not so great results. But yours are GREAT for a first attempt!! And I know what you mean... it does get rather addictive!! 🙂

I started thinking of her as "The girl from Venus" for reasons I don't care to ponder. Anyways there is this song by "They Might Be Giants" about someone needing to volunteer to kiss the girl from Venus...FOR SCIENCE! So that model, and her predicament, kind of inspired the name of this thread.

Thank you Oggy, the first pic was the last one I did. If I ever get around to finishing it, the plan is to have that table slide forward on those tracks it rests on into some kind of foot-tickle nest of madness and doom, hence the victim's concern.

Thank you limbo. I spent a while convincing myself to post this stuff, as I thought people would think it was crap. The overwhelming positive response, although a little shocking, has really given me pause for thought. I'm just glad you guys enjoyed these.

As I said on your TMF post, great work - you've given poser a whole new look! I've even felt like dabbling with it again and you've given me whole new directions.

Addictive - I think the program should have a health warning about anyone with OCD not using it. There's also a reality shift issue when you are really drawn in - when you want something like a new couch - no problem I'll just model one...

For those wanting to try it - you really have it made with DAZ studio being a free download (there I've now earned my download from them - tell a friend policy). The program is very competitive with Poser and I would probably go that way if I was starting out again. But, don't expect to get anywhere for a while - the program needs lots of hours before you can even start to make things happen. But it's all fun. I would recommend working through some basic tutorials first before attempting anything as having to break things off because you're lacking some basic technique is really frustrating.

We could request a 3D model forum and I'd be happy to share what I've found out, where to download free stuff and so on.
