I have occasionally come across "second-person" stories, where it will say something like "I tickle your soles" rather than "I tickled her soles. I found them to be an interesting change from your typical story, but I rarely see them posted here. Does anyone else enjoy these types of stories?

If they're done really well, then yeah I do enjoy them. Most of the ones I've ever read have lousey grammar and bad punctuation, so it sort of detracts from the whole idea. But I'd love to see a well-written one up here!

I was just thinking of starting a thread about this. Shouldnt it be re titled first person stories though. I too am a big fan of these types of stories, as can be seen with my frequent interactive fiction games. There is something very exciting about hearing a persons first hand perspective when it comes to the subject of tickling. I absolutley love it when a person/character describes exactly how they are tickling somebody. On the other hand, a characters very detailed description of their tickling experience is just as good.

I was actually talking about something slightly different than 1st person stories (though those are interesting too). I guess I gave a bad example, as my example is both 1st and 2nd person. Here's another example of what I mean:

3rd person: She tickled his soles mercilessly, his feet wriggling in their bonds, desperately trying to escape her touch.

2nd person: She tickled your soles mercilessly, your feet wriggling in their bonds, desperately trying to escape her touch.

So, I guess a story can have multiple perspectives, depending on whether you (the reader) are a character, and whether the author is a character.
