Just felt I should post this. Me and this user were suppose to have a session this past Fri. and she(If it is a she)stood me up. She had stopped emailing me about two days before our session. I am now waiting for an explanation.

It may have well been and if it was I would totally understand, but she still has yet to give me an explanation. I know she doesn't have to give me one, but it would be nice if she did and if it was she got nervous or scared towards the end I'd have better judgements about her. I've seen her logged on here after our session we were suppose to have, so I know she is alive at least. I'll gladly remove my previous post if she ever gives an explanation, but until then I feel people should have a warning that this user may or may not waste your time. I was suppose to have a paid photo shoot this past Sat. that the photographer had to cancel and he had tried to see if I could possibly shoot the same Fri. I was suppose to have a session, but of course I couldn't due to getting myself and the house ready only to end up getting stood up. I was a mixture of sad/angry.

Yeah I agree an apology would've been awesome. Meh she hasn't been on here in awhile and I've pretty much have considered her a flake or a fake. Thanks for the advice I've been thinking about asking for small deposits before sessions, but have been worried it might turn some people off.

Not that I've ever employed your services, but you have enough presence on the forum and elsewhere to qualify as a 'real person' (I can vouch for the fact that KT and I have met you many times IRL over the years) so anyone thinking of hiring you should realize you do exist, are female by birth, and are easy to find.

Therefore, given the propensity of some people to use email and a fake booking as an excuse for Onanism in its perceived rather than strictly Biblical sense, you have every right to get half the money upfront as a non-refundable fee, and make sure it clears before responding with more precise contact details.

This also ensures you won't be giving your address out to every random idiot who asks for it.

Losing a few 'real' customers over this is far preferable to having your time wasted by a far larger bunch of fakes, and people booking in good faith will be reassured by your professionalism.
