Semi-update (I'm alive)

It's been awhile since I posted a news update on anything, and I apologize for that. I'm heading into the home stretch of my college days and want to make sure I make it out okay. I appreciate all the TickleTheater Staff who have been keeping the place neat and tidy. I certainly can't do it alone, and these people are simply top-notch!

The site has been semi-updated in regards that the clips section has been updated. I need to get in contact with my images person for some new material since you probably don't want me to throw up another random week that was done in the past. We also have a new interest poll to tickle your fancy!

I'll try to update more often, if nothing else the forums have been booming with new material lately. My hats off to the outstanding network of members we have assembled together over the past year or so. Also be sure to check out the new TickleTown "pimpage" that went up tonight. 🙂

Ignore that comment TT. Anyways, its good to hear from you, but you might want to know theres a problem with one of your video clips. The last one on the list, provided by MicroBito has an error in it, or rather, it asks for a codec that at least my Windows Media Player does not have. The player connects the codec server on its own and requests the codex but it fails every time.

The name of the needed codec is DX50, and apparently its a video codex, because all I'm getting is audio. Also, this file was rather large and took a good ammount of time to download. I only mention this to spare others with dial-up internet any frustration that this download and error upon reaching it may cause.

I don't suppose therefore that you or Microbito would have the needed codec do you? I doubt its a problem with WMP as I've never recieved such an error and WMP has never had to request anything to play a file (at least for me). Ironically, its the only decent sounding (by your words) and looking clip from the batch, and it had to be an all-foot tickling clip too.

In fact the clip file is an avi. I have 3 different viewers : Real one - BS player and Zoom player. Before avi could not play at all - now they do. I even do not know what made them viewable i've unstalled so many codecs that at least it worked 🙂 I aslo had dial-up modem before and it was hell to download arrghh :grind_tee. So try zoom player i think it should be on http://www.download.com

Well, I downloaded that program and it still doesn't work. Its just audio. And to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end I downloaded it twice, but it still only plays audio and not video. It seems the program choice doesn't matter. Any ideas?

You're probably missing DivX. Get the standard codec underneath the table on that page, not the "free" DivX Pro adware one in the table itself.
