Server Maintenance - your help needed

Hi all,

We are carrying out some tests in order to optimize the load times of tickletheater. These are now underway.

You may experience drops and improvements in page load times.

I would ask anybody who reads this, and who has used the forum for 5 mins or more to post here about how quickly pages are loading for you. I will be testing too myself, but it helps if I can get other people testing from their locations also.

Please post how quickly pages are loading for you.

Super fast for me. Literally 1 and a half seconds for any page to load. But that probably has more to do with my internet connection. It was fast before (the speed of the site loading), but now its faster. Good work.

the odd page needs to load twice before it will work..but that could be me opening too many pages 🙂

Thanks for the updates all, I appreciate it. I don't think we are going to see anymore speed improvements now.

Altho, if it the server starts to slow down, please post here. The most recent changes were aimed at improving speed and keeping the uptime of the server. So we should need be needing reboots as often. (I'm hoping we can sustain this speed and NOT reboot). Fingers crossed 🙂

I had two "page not found" errors in my first few minutes here tonight.

Aside from a couple of "Page not found" errors in the last day, I've had no problems. Loading's been very fast.

In my case, I was trying to load the General Discussions index. I haven't had any new error messages since then.

I experienced some lag and slowdown earlier today, but only in the General Discussions.

they are loading pretty fast. I got no problems with them yet.

I don't know if this would have anything to do with the server, but I've had a couple of times where I've quoted someone and typed my response, but neither the [/Quote] part or my response was posted.
