I first learned about this method from Brian Tracy. They did a study decades ago with an ivy league college. Only about 3 percent of them wrote down their goals. The rest did not.
Researchers checked with the group many years later, and out of all of them, only the ones who had clear, concise goals written, had achieved them, and more more.
By far, the best method is writing them down daily. And at the end of the day, review them, and write down what you did that was in line with your goals and brought you closer to them.
Also, write down what you would've done if you had the day to do over again. Eventually, your conscious writings become rooted in your subconscious, and that is what will prompts you to act.
For example, some days I lie in bed knowing I should've hit the gym as soon as it opened. No matter how much I try to stay in bed, I become increasingly restless. Restless to the point that it compels
me to put on my workout clothes and go take care of my health. Goals without actions behind them are merely wishes.
Take some time to watch Grant and Elena Cardone.

Grant Cardone sounds and sometimes looks like a buffoon, but so does Donald Trump. You will find this video funny, entertaining, and educational.
If you can't bear Grant, then keep your eyes on his wife Elena. She isn't as prissy as she looks, and is quite hilarious herself. That woman is a keeper!
